London & Regional Properties have been awarded the contract to regenerate Albert Island in the London Royal Docks area. The developers will act at the Great London Authority’s partner on the 10 hectare site at the eastern end of the royal docks.
Whilst the details of the plans are yet to be released, the masterplan of the site includes the development of a commercial boatyard and the redevelopment of the existing marina. New housing will be also be developed around the southern part facing the Thames.
