Barhale has achieved breakthrough of a 330m long tunnel under the Thames from Chelsea to Battersea Park. The tunnel will form part of the gas distribution under Cadent’s £1bn programme to replace the aging infrastructure across London.
The tunnelling work, which took just over three weeks to complete, saw around 4,500m3 of material excavated.
