Plans submitted for a hotel and museum complex next to the Celtic club stadium

Celtic football club have submitted plans for a five-storey, v-shaped building with the intent to replace the current ticket office and club superstore. The new plans provide around 200 rooms at the London Road site outside of the main stand of Celtic Park and close to the Emirates Arena. If given the green light, the museum will see improved shop and ticketing facilities. Previous plans for a £44m hotel development on a site facing Celtic Park were rejected in 2013.
