5m 5-section Telescopic Levelling Staff

Nedo telescopic 'E' graduations, 5m, 5 section leveling staffs are made of anodised aluminum section tubes to withstand extreme demands in construction. The staff comes supplied with a carrying bag and clip-on bubble.

A reliable locking mechanism with metal-reinforced buttons ensures that the telescopic sections lock securely into position. (Alternatively - it can be used with a rotary laser level and receiver when greater height or depth difference measurements are required).

It is recommended for leveling measurement applications including groundwork, surveying, and landscaping.

Front with E graduation in cms / Back with mm graduations, beginning "0" at the base. Plus, a bubble vial attachment for plumb positioning.

Calculation of height difference:  Height A - Height B = Height difference H

Long-distance scale with E-graduations: This particular form of scale graduation can easily be read even over long distances when the cm divisions are no longer visible.

The E-blocks are 5cm high and the red and black are meter divisions.

Distance estimating with an optical level: Read the upper and lower values of the stadia lines. These are the graduations above and below the crosshairs in the telescope.

Multiply the difference of these values by the factor of 100; the result is the distance in meters.
