It is now a requirement by law to have overhead goalposts on most construction sites, where there are overhead obstacles. They are used to ensure that enough warning is given to drivers about hazards and overhead obstacles such as power lines and structures.

Our safety goal post system includes 2x 7.5m red and white poles 2x Ballast Block Bases and red and white bunting.

The maximum height of this product is 7.5m and the minimum height is 1.8m. They have capped ends for bunting and red and white poles for extra visibility. The cross bar option is available. The set includes two ballast bases, two poles, and bunting. This item is a one-person assembly.

This height restriction system is a lightweight, cost-effective solution to ensure full GS6 compliance. The kit is fully HSE GS6 compliant and is designed to be set up bridging the access road before and after the obstacle that is being avoided.

The kits have many names including GS6 Kits, Overhead Goalposts, and overhead cable protection posts. These systems are often used around live electrical cables. For this reason, the poles are made from fibreglass and are non-conductive for maximum safety and reliability.
