Scope

CMT Equipment Ltd (CMT Group) aims to provide defect-free goods and services to its customers, delivered on time and within agreed budgets.

 

Objectives

CMT Group aims to operate a quality management system aligned with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2015, including aspects relevant to the construction, healthcare, aviation, rail, manufacturing and retail industries.
Management is committed to developing and improving the quality management system, continually improving its effectiveness and enhancing customer satisfaction.

 

Commitments

Management has a continuing commitment to:

  • Ensuring customer needs and expectations are determined and met
  • Communicating throughout CMT Group the importance of meeting customer requirements and complying with applicable legal and regulatory obligations
  • Establishing and communicating the Quality Policy and associated objectives to all personnel
  • Conducting management reviews to assess the effectiveness of the quality management system
  • Ensuring the availability of appropriate resources

 

Further Points

The structure of the quality management system is defined in the Quality Management Manual (CMT45002) and the organisational chart (CMT85004).

In addition to applicable UK and EU commercial legislation and regulations, CMT Group is committed to compliance with all legislation and regulatory requirements relevant to its business activities.

CMT Equipment Ltd (CMT Group) undertakes to supply only safety equipment and related services that comply with applicable standards, regulations and declared performance claims. Where appropriate, the business will maintain up-to-date technical files and associated documentation to enable regulatory compliance information to be supplied upon request.


Where products are sourced from external organisations that hold technical files, CMT Equipment Ltd (CMT Group) will seek confirmation that such files are current, complete and include appropriate conformity assessment and regulatory compliance information, and will take reasonable steps to verify the validity of the documentation provided.


Where services are provided in relation to safety equipment sourced from external organisations, CMT Equipment Ltd (CMT Group) will maintain confirmation from the manufacturer that such services are assessed and approved by the external organisation.
