The Mindray BeneHeart C Series Battery is a dedicated replacement battery for BeneHeart C-Series AEDs (including C1A and C2 models), designed to ensure the AED remains fully powered and ready for life-saving use. As a high-capacity, non-rechargeable LiMnO₂ (Lithium Manganese Dioxide) battery, it provides long-term standby reliability and sufficient power for multiple high-energy defibrillation shocks. Keeping a fresh battery installed (or a spare on hand) is essential for emergency preparedness — especially in workplaces, public buildings, schools, or community AED programmes.

FAQs:

Which AED models is this battery suitable for?
This battery is compatible with Mindray BeneHeart C-Series devices — for instance, C1A (automatic or semi-automatic) and C2 models.

Is this battery rechargeable?
No — it is a non-rechargeable disposable LiMnO₂ battery. It must be replaced when depleted.

How many shocks can this battery provide?
Under typical conditions, the battery can deliver up to 400 shocks at 200 J.

What is the battery’s standby life when installed (but the AED is not used)?
Up to 6 years with weekly auto-tests, or up to 5 years with daily auto-tests (at around 20 °C).

Do I need technical skills to replace the battery?
No — replacement is straightforward: open the battery compartment, slide out the old battery, slide in the new one, and secure it. No specialised tools or modifications required.

Is it advisable to keep a spare battery on hand?
Yes. Storing a spare battery helps ensure continuous AED readiness, especially if the installed battery nears end-of-life or after multiple shocks.
