Virtual reality systems that were developed on Crossrail by Laing O’Rourke, are set to be implemented across constructions sites with the intention that they cut costs by up to 25%. The system will provide the industry with both augmented and virtual reality to improve the construction process at every stage.
Visualisation specialist Soluis, is leading a consortium by developing the wearable system. Working alongside Soluis are AECOM, Doosan Babcock, Laing O’Rourke, Autodesk and Microsoft.
