What Is Metatarsal protection?

These are 5 long bones found at the top of the foot near the toes and between the tarsal bones. This is because this part of the body has almost no flesh to protect itself, and it extends further beyond the body line.

Use external protection in your shoes, by adding a flap to cover your laces, as this is the thinnest part of your shoe. Without a flap, you are at higher risk of a breakage due to the thin layers providing little protection.
