Multi Purpose Diamond Blade – Professional Plus – Longer Life – Self Cooling – OTEC VB5P is developed for professional contractors working on UK construction, utilities and infrastructure sites where metal cutting durability is a primary requirement.

It is intended for cutting exposed steel, ductile iron pipe, cast iron, rebar, plastic and fibreglass materials. The Professional Plus configuration supports extended blade life compared to traditional abrasive discs, helping reduce downtime and consumable replacement frequency during repetitive cutting tasks.

The VB5P is not suitable for asphalt or highly abrasive materials. It should not be specified for abrasive concrete products or asphalt-based applications and should be used within its intended metal-led application range.

Before use:

Confirm correct rotation direction and bore compatibility with the machine spindle. Wear appropriate PPE and ensure guards are correctly fitted.

During use:

Do not apply excessive force. Allow the blade to cut at its designed speed and take cooling breaks where required. If overheating occurs, reassess material suitability. Ensure material is securely positioned and regularly inspect the blade for signs of damage.

Wet cutting:

If wet cutting is used, ensure adequate water supply is directed to both sides of the blade.
