Air1 AdBlue is a light colourless, Aqueous Urea Solution used as a fluid in the latest generation of diesel-powered Euro IV Euro V & Euro VI trucks, and reduces environmental impact through reduced emissions.

All trucks and buses registered after October 2006 must be Euro IV, Euro V, or Euro VI compliant and most will require AdBlue.

Each drum contains the full 210 litres and if stored correctly has a shelf life of up to three years.

Recommended for smaller fleets, our 210-litre drum solution is an ideal option for most fleet operators running up to 4 SCR equipped vehicles.

What is AdBlue?

One of the latest techniques used to clean up diesel emissions is known as selective catalytic reduction (SCR). A solution of urea in water is used to treat exhaust gases and remove harmful pollutants, including nitrogen oxides (NOx), of which nitrogen dioxide (NO2) is the most harmful.

The fluid is stored in a tank in the car, but unlike petrol or diesel it is not injected into the engine; instead, it is fed into part of the vehicle’s exhaust. A chemical reaction converts the harmful NOx exhaust gases into harmless nitrogen and water.
