Multi Purpose Diamond Blade – Professional Plus – Tri-Purpose Granite & Concrete & Asphalt – 15mm Segment – Undercut Protected – OTEC D17P is developed for professional contractors requiring a robust blade capable of handling varied and demanding site conditions.

It is intended for cutting granite, reinforced concrete, general construction materials and asphalt where durability, stability and extended blade life are required. The 15mm segment configuration combined with undercut protection supports consistent wear performance during prolonged use. The self-cooling design assists in managing heat during heavy-duty cutting cycles.

The D17P is also used on selected metal materials where appropriate operating procedures are followed. It is not intended as a specialist metal cutting blade for continuous structural steel applications.

Usage Guide:

 Before use

Ensure the blade specification is suitable for the material being cut. Inspect the blade for cracking, segment detachment, undercutting of the steel core or uneven wear. Confirm correct rotation direction and bore compatibility with the machine spindle. Wear appropriate PPE and ensure machine guards are correctly fitted.

During use

Do not apply excessive force. Allow the blade to cut at its designed speed and take regular cooling breaks. If overheating occurs, reassess material suitability. Secure the material firmly and inspect the blade regularly for damage.

Wet cutting

If wet cutting is used, ensure a continuous and adequate water supply is applied to both sides of the blade.
