Hard Materials Diamond Blade – Professional – 10mm Segment – OTEC D10P is developed for professional use on UK construction and civil engineering sites where very hard materials place increased demands on blade performance.
It is intended for contractors cutting very hard concrete, granite, hard natural stone, engineering bricks and clay products. The blade is particularly suited to structural applications such as pile caps and dense reinforced sections where cutting resistance is high and stability is critical.
The D10P is not suitable for asphalt or highly abrasive materials. It should not be specified for asphalt, green concrete, render, cement screed or abrasive concrete products, as wear life will be significantly reduced in those applications.
For these materials we would recommend a blade more specific to those materials. Browse our OTEC diamond blades category.

Before use
Ensure the blade specification is suitable for the material being cut. Inspect for cracking, segment detachment, undercutting of the steel core or uneven wear. Confirm correct rotation direction and bore compatibility with the machine spindle. Wear appropriate PPE and ensure all guards are correctly fitted.
During use
Do not apply excessive force. Allow the blade to cut at its designed speed and take regular cooling breaks. If overheating occurs, reassess material suitability. Ensure the material is securely positioned and regularly inspect the blade for signs of damage.
Wet cutting
If wet cutting is used, ensure a continuous and adequate water supply to both sides of the blade.
