The OTEC DT15 is a super premium concrete diamond blade developed for professional use on UK construction, infrastructure, and civil engineering sites. It is designed to cut a wide range of concrete materials where strength, density, and reinforcement place higher demands on blade performance.
This blade is intended for contractors, groundworks teams, and site operatives working with reinforced concrete, hard unabrasive concrete products, and general concrete applications such as slabs, kerbs, and pavers. Its design supports consistent cutting behaviour across mixed site conditions, reducing the need for frequent blade changes.
The DT15 is not suitable for metal cutting or asphalt-based materials. It should not be specified for exposed steel, rebar, asphalt, green concrete, render, or cement screed, and should only be used within its intended concrete-focused application range.
✓ Engineered to deliver stable cutting performance across reinforced and dense concrete materials
✓ Supports controlled wear behaviour when cutting hard and general concrete products
✓ Suitable for varied site tasks where material consistency may chang
✓ Designed to maintain cutting efficiency under regular professional use
✓ Balanced segment configuration supports predictable blade behaviour on site
✓ Helps reduce unnecessary blade changes on mixed concrete applications
✓ Developed to perform reliably on UK construction and infrastructure sites

Before use
Confirm that the blade specification is suitable for the material being cut. Inspect the blade for cracking, segment damage, uneven wear, or undercutting of the steel core. Ensure the rotation direction matches the arrow on the blade and that the bore size matches the machine spindle. Verify that machine guards are correctly fitted and appropriate PPE is worn.
During use
Do not apply excessive force during cutting. Allow the blade to cut at its designed speed and maintain steady feed pressure. Take regular cooling breaks, particularly when cutting dense or reinforced concrete. If cutting performance reduces, reassess material suitability and blade condition.
Wet cutting
Where wet cutting is used, ensure a continuous and adequate water supply is applied to both sides of the blade throughout operation.
Is the DT15 suitable for reinforced concrete?
Yes. The DT15 is designed for reinforced and hard unabrasive concrete materials.
Can this blade be used for general site concrete cutting?
