How to use

Step 1: Extend the tripod legs and lock them securely. Confirm the unit is stable on a level surface before raising the mast.

Step 2: Extend the telescopic mast to the required height (maximum 5m). Lock the mast sections at the desired height.

Step 3: Angle the floodlight head to direct the beam at the working area.

Step 4: Connect the 5m cable to a 110V CTE transformer output via the 16A Ceeform plug.

Step 5: Confirm the light is illuminated and the mast is stable before stepping back.

Step 6: Disconnect from the transformer before adjusting mast height or repositioning the unit.

Common mistakes

• Extending the mast on an unstable or uneven surface. Always establish firm tripod leg positions before raising the mast.

• Connecting to 230V supply. This unit is 110V only. Connecting to 230V permanently damages the unit.

• Adjusting mast height or repositioning while energised. Disconnect from the transformer before any height adjustment or movement.

• Not earthing the unit. Class I construction requires an earthed supply. The 110V CTE transformer provides this automatically.

• Using in sustained heavy rain or water jets. IP44 covers splash. Avoid water jet exposure or submersion.

Safety

110V only. Do not connect to 230V. Class I construction: must be connected to an earthed 110V CTE supply. IP44 covers water splash but not water jets or submersion. No ATEX certification. Do not use in explosive or flammable atmospheres. Establish stable tripod leg positions before extending the mast. Do not adjust height while energised. Ambient operating temperature: -15°C to +45°C. Inspect cable, plug, and housing before each use.

Maintenance

Wipe the floodlight head and tempered glass lens with a dry cloth after use. Keep the lens clear of dust and debris for maximum output. Inspect the cable, plug, and housing before each deployment. Do not immerse. Collapse the mast and fold the tripod legs for storage and transport. Dispose of in accordance with UK WEEE regulations at end of service life.
