TDM Level D is appropriate for fabrication, construction, and mixed site tasks involving sharp materials, rebar, sheet metal, and tooling. For sites where hard hat use means neckband format is required, the armourU Hornelen at SNR 30 covers 85 to 100 dB(A). For extremely noisy environments above 100 dB(A), quarrying, airports, heavy demolition, the armourU El Capitan at SNR 37 applies. Always apply the HSE correction (subtract half the SNR from the measured level) before confirming selection.
